Rick B. Larsen came to Sutherland with more than 30 years of experience in media, management and the nonprofit sector. Prior, he was chief development officer for United Way of Salt Lake and president/CMO of Operation Kids Foundation. His early career included a decade in the entertainment industry creating content for family films, television and events. He has provided strategic guidance to a wide range of endeavors including ballot initiatives, political campaigns, nonprofit compliance, and for-profit corporate social responsibility strategies.

He graduated cum laude from the University of Utah with two bachelor’s degrees – one in political science, with an emphasis on public policy, and one in consumer and community studies.
