Jonathan R. Macey is Sam Harris Professor of Corporate Law, Corporate Finance, and Securities Law at Yale University, and Professor in the Yale School of Management. Professor Macey went to college at Harvard, law school at Yale, and holds a Ph.D. honoris causa from the Stockholm School of Economics. Following law school, Professor Macey was law clerk to Judge Henry J. Friendly on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.  Professor Macey also has taught at the University of Amsterdam, Bocconi University (Milan), the University of Chicago, Cornell, Emory, Harvard, The Stockholm School of Economics, The University of Tokyo, the University of Turin, and the University of Virginia.
